Isla Vita is a small, female owned business geared towards fused and stained glass objects. Through simple forms and playful design our objects combine the character of handmade craft with contemporary aesthetics.
We choose colors that are classic, fun, and pleasing to create designs you'll love to live with.

BEHIND THE GLASS
ISLA VITA STUDIO is a design project by artist Eden V(ita) Evans. Evans began workin in glass in 2021 after receiving her MFA from the University of Oregon.
Isla Vita is an homage to her mother's hand painted functional ceramics. Like her mother, Evans's art practice has spanned many different media, yet she continuously returns to process. For Evans, process is a mediation.

With a background in sculpture, textiles and ceramics, Evans came to glass through her day job, but found herself to be right at home working through the processes of glass construction and design. For Evans, Isla Vita is a project meant to help savor the simple pleasures and to remind us that little things can be special.
